The Deutsche Franchise-Verband e.V. (DFV e.V. [German Franchise Association, registered association]) was founded in 1978 as the central representative and quality association of the German franchise sector.
The DFV mainly considers itself as an entrepreneurs association, but at the same time benefits from the know-how of franchising lawyers and business consultants who are affiliated to the association as experts. At present, the DFV has approximately 250 members.
