K Med Expo will return in June 2024 with 113 participating companies, 6,024 visitors, more than 3,000 buyers from the Vietnamese medical industry, and simultaneous academic conferences.

 

Based on the 2030 National Master Plan, Vietnam aims to improve the supply and demand of high-quality medicines and modernize all medical systems across the country by 2030. To overcome the insufficient domestic medical device production base, the Vietnamese government is actively encouraging foreign medical device companies to enter the Vietnamese market by providing various investment incentives and benefits such as tariff reductions .

In this way, Vietnam´s medical device market environment, where foreign companies can occupy a large market share, can be a new opportunity for Korean medical companies that are proving their competitiveness in various fields and items such as imaging diagnosis, digital healthcare, and beauty care.
