The Victam Foundation dates back to 1964 and was originally founded to organize a trade show for suppliers to the animal feed and related industries. This became the famous international Victam exhibition, which up until 2007 was held every three years in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
In due course the foundation widened its scope of activities to promoting the international feed, grain and biomass industry in general. These activities can adopt various forms, such as the organization of exhibitions, conferences, student exchanges, publishing, support of research projects and institutes, and contacts with and support of relevant associations.
The Board of the Victam Foundation consists of five members from the feed industry and supplying industries.
The Victam Foundation owns 100% of the shares of Victam International BV, the organizers of the Victam events.

All Victam, FIAAP and GRAPAS events are organized and coordinated by Victam International BV. This small-scale, efficient company has a vast data bank at its disposal with over 17,000 named executives within the feed, grain and biomass companies and organizations worldwide.
Victam International BV is advised of market trends by the Technical Advisory Committee, thus helping Victam events move with the times. This international committee consists of scientists and experts working for producers of ingredients and equipment for the feed and grain industries.
Victam International BV has appointed consultants in the major European and Asian countries.
Victam International BV organizes events in Europe (Cologne, Germany) and Asia (Bangkok, Thailand).
